Affiliate disclosure

Affiliate disclosure: some store links on HoldBackup are affiliate links. If you buy through one, HoldBackup may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

How store links work

When store links are on, a store button links straight to the product page on Amazon. The address includes HoldBackup's Associates tag, and the button is labelled "Paid link". HoldBackup counts the click with an analytics event (see below). The store sets the price and availability, and both can change.

What HoldBackup covers

Backup power only: UPS units, battery backups, portable power stations, standby generators, and cords, inlets, or transfer gear tied to them. HoldBackup does not publish invented test results, ratings, or savings figures.

Site analytics

We measure site use with Google Analytics 4 (G-ED6C1LW2FQ), Ahrefs Web Analytics, and the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon. Google Analytics records page views and store-button clicks and sets cookies in your browser. Ahrefs receives page URLs, referrers, browser and device information, language, and interaction events; it derives city and country from the IP address and says it discards raw IP addresses and uses no cookies for this service. Read Ahrefs' data collection explanation. Cloudflare hosts the site and may add its beacon to measure page loads. If you subscribe to the newsletter, our provider Beehiiv receives the email address you enter on the signup page. The privacy page lists what each service collects and how to opt out.

We do not load the analytics script when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. A store-button click does not tell us that you made a purchase.
